Ukrainian Wedding Vows

Here are the traditional весільні клятви (wedding vows) spoken in Ukraine - not very much different from those of most other languages. We also show an idiomatic translation in English.

The largest religion in Ukraine is Eastern Orthodox Christianity, with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) being the main branches. Eastern Catholicism is mainly seen in western parts of Ukraine, particularly the Catholic Church in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC). There are also various Protestantism denominations, including Baptists, Pentecostals, and Evangelical Churches.

The wedding vows are more or less the same for all these Churches.
