Wedding Vows in Other Languages
Help us say “I Do” in more languages!
Right now, we’re delighted to share wedding vows in the languages listed in the index — but love knows no borders, and we’d love your help to grow our collection.
We’re still developing this site, and we plan to add vows in more languages as we discover them. That’s where you come in.
Do you know traditional, non-English wedding vows?
Can you translate, transcribe, or unearth ancient promises of eternal devotion from your culture, your grandmother’s notes, or the dusty back shelf of a library?
If so, the world is waiting for someone like you (yes, you) to step in and share the love. You’ll get full credit for your contribution… or, if you’re feeling mysterious, you can remain anonymous like a romantic vow-supplying ninja.
Please email your vows to: enquiry@seiyaku.com
Include the language, the original wording, an English translation if you can, and any interesting notes, history, or ceremonial quirks that might make fellow vow enthusiasts swoon.
Thank you! Your contribution could help make someone’s special day even more meaningful — and possibly multilingual.
