Zhongtong - sort of means "the passenger which bus takes central position on the road"
Zhongtong is a major Chinese bus manufacturer in Shandong Province
The logo is a stylised version of the first Chinese character (δΈ) of the company's name, the sinogram meaning (in this case) "central".
The design cleverly creates a star in the centre of the logo.
Of course, real stars are not cross-shaped; rather they are enormous balls of plasma. But although Zhongtong buses tend to be pretty big, they're not big enough to carry a real star.
