Arandjelovac Flag
The feature within the Arandjelovac Flag that distinguishes its national identity is the cross of Serbia
Arandjelovac Flag
Famed for its mineral waters, Arandjelovac has the most recent civic flag in Serbia. It was officially adopted in 2007 and designed by the Serbian Heraldry Society (White Eagle: beliorao.com).
In addition to the Serbian emblem, the Arandjelovac flag includes an image representing the Archangel Gabriel.
The name Arandjelovac means 'The town of the Archangel' and this is associated with a church in the centre of the town, which Duke Milos Obrenovic dedicated to St. Archangel Gabriel in 1858.
