Preface 14 - The Body and Blood of Christ; The Holy Eucharist

It is very meet, right, and our bounden duty, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto thee, O Lord, holy Father, almighty, everlasting God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who on the day before he offered himself for us upon the altar of the cross, poured out for all mankind the richness of his love and mercy, and from the treasury of his heart brought forth the mystery of the Eucharist: wherein the faith of them that believe is nourished, their hope increased, their love made strong, and a pledge of future glory is received.
